We require you to be 21 or older to rent the boat. South Carolina Law requires you to be above the age of 18 if you do not have a Boaters License.

We do not provide a captain’s service for any of the rental boats. Customer is responsible for driving the boat.

Yes, you can bring whatever you would like to eat or drink while you are out on the water. We DO NOT allow red wine on the boats.

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel outside of 72 hours from your reservation start time, you will receive a full refund. As far as weather, we offer weather rescheduling. If we have to cancel for weather we will issue a rental credit for future booking.

Pricing includes tax and fuel is included.

Bringing a cooler is recommended, however there are compartments on some of the boats that will act in place of a cooler if you do not have one.

Our staff will go over a chart with you to show you our boundaries as well as the channels to stay in. The chart will go with you on your rental for referencing. Staff will also go over the boat to show you operations as well as where all USCG required safety gear is located on the boat.

South Carolina requires a Drivers License if the boater is above the age of 18 and a Boaters License if under 18 years of age. However, we require you to be at least 21 years old to rent the boat.

Shem Creek Boat Rentals does not provide a captain to drive the boat. The customer can find one at their expense and liability.

The 22’ Center Console rentals will accommodate up to 8 passengers. INCLUDING CHILDREN.

The 22’ Dual Console rentals will accommodate up to 8 passengers. INCLUDING CHILDREN.

The 22’ Deck Boat rental will accommodate up to 10 passengers. INCLUDING CHILDREN.

The 24’ Deck Boat rental will accommodate up to 12 passengers. INCLUDING CHILDREN.

The rental durations are 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours.

NO WATERSPORTS CAN BE CONDUCTED BEHIND THE BOATS OR TOWING OF ANY KIND.
